Hurricane Matthew made landfall in Haiti on October 4th as a major category 4 hurricane in the Southwestern of the country. The storm has devastated the department de la grande Anse and the department du Sud that includes, areas like Coteaux, Jeremie, Dame Marie, Port Salut, Les Cayes, Miragoanne and Petit-Goave. The Hurricane destroyed Human lives livestock, homes, and vegetation. It has been reported that at least a thousand are dead and thousands are left without shelter, food, water and medcal care.

We welcome you to the opportunity for world service! At Light Path, we are a dedicated group of volunteers with a love of people and a love for helping others. We are ordinary everyday people doing extraordinary things. As you tour the website please take notice of our energetic volunteers who are undaunted and untiring! We put our all into whatever we have to give or to do. We are teachers, pastors, clerks, mothers, fathers, nurses, doctors, musicians, cosmeticians, business owners, waiters, engineers, taxi drivers, therapists, police officers, and students. In short, we are YOU, all working together from different parts of the US and the world for a common goal. Light Path is made-up of individuals with high integrity and morals. Light Path’s ultimate goal is to show the Love of God by serving others. Therefore our volunteers bear their own expenses such that at Light Path – 120% of the donations it receives goes directly to the people of Haiti. Consider becoming a volunteer today!
Light Path, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) hands-on organization established to help Third World countries like Haiti by providing health care, education and food as well as working with the people we serve to empower them by finding out their needs. Light Path has served cities and towns across Haiti serving as an umbrella to serve the Haitian people for any organization that wants to serve the people in a hands-on fashion. We have Partnered or worked with organizations such as Mothers For Africa based in California, Children Charity based in DC, the International Commission of Inquiry on Haiti, SNEC (Southern New England Conference) based in Massachusetts, and ACTS.
